Rules and Regulations for use of Elementary Schools for Scouting Functions

- School facilities may be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis by Pack Committee representatives and Den Leaders through the “School Dude” system at https://www.communityuse.com/default.asp?acctnum=805183456
- Please do not prop or hold open any entrances to the facility. Only school staff members may prop open a door and man it. Scouting groups may assign a person to open doors for families who need to enter, but the door must be otherwise left closed and secured.
- Children may not be in the hallways unsupervised. Children must be escorted to bathroom facilities by an adult, either the child’s parent/guardian or by leaders in strict accordance with the BSA Youth Protection Policy (two-deep leadership).
- Vehicles must be parked in designated parking spaces and not in the emergency/fire lanes. Vehicles in violation of fire code may be towed at the owner’s expense.
- Issues with procedures (or other items groups may be in disagreement with) need to be addressed in a calm manner which is not disrespectful to personnel.
